Streets
Most of the Carlyle District is found between Duke St. and Eisenhower Avenue. On the map above, Duke St. is the wide street at the bottom of the map and Eisenhower Avenue is at the top of the map. At the eastern edge of the map, Holland Avenue connects Eisenhower and Duke along the Alexandria National Cemetery and Alexandria's African American Heritage Park. At the west of the Carlyle, Mill Road and Jamieson meander from the George Washington National Masonic Memorial toward the Eisenhower Metro.
Metros
The Carlyle neighborhood is near Old Town Alexandria between two metro stations. The King St. Station serves the Yellow and Blue Lines and is at the northern end of the Carlyle District. (Shown at the bottom of the map at the "M".) The Eisenhower Station serves the Yellow Line and is at the top of the map. The Virginia Railway Express Alexandria Station also stops nearby at King St.

Architecture
The Carlyle District is found in 22314, the same zip code as Alexandria's Old Town. Although the structures in the Carlyle District are relatively new, the neighborhood has been planned compliment the colonial feel of Old Town.
